REGISTRATION FOR CPC 2022 NOW OPEN!
We are excited to announce that we are now opening Cadet Programs Conference student registrations! Just as a reminder, there are around 1500 cadets in the California Wing and we can only accept the first 500 registrations. Therefore, register early to secure your spot. You do NOT want to miss out on attending one of the largest most popular CAP events in the California Wing!
What is CPC?
Cadet Programs Conference is a 3 ½ day conference completely dedicated to cadets! Cadets can choose from a wide-range of different classes to attend – everything from dance lessons to leadership, robotics to how to play chess!
What’s Happening this Year?
Special events include a Friday night social, and a Saturday Aerospace, Career, and Education (ACE) Expo where cadets are able to play games and visit various booths highlighting different local, regional, and national CAP activities, careers, colleges and clubs! Culminating with the CPC Banquet hosted on Sunday evening.
This year’s ACE expo has a wide selection of vendors for the career fair including:
- NASA Armstrong
- US Space Force
- ALL 5 military academies
- FBI Los Angeles
- Alaksa Airlines/Horizon Air
- Allegient Air
- LIFT Academy
- and much more!
The Banquet is similar to a military ball with pomp and circumstance, an amazing guest speaker, you can cheer on your fellow cadets receiving various awards, take pictures at a photo booth, and dance the night away with your friends. This is a once-a-year activity that you won’t want to miss! Everyone will enter with a red carpet (complete with Facebook Live and photographers), enjoy dinner with friends while listening to amazing guest speaker, Colonel Kim Reed-Campbell, snap fun photos at the photo booth, and dance away while enjoying the ambiance and music from our virtual DJ, DJ Sparks!
CPC is featuring amazing guests! Our GA guest speaker is LTC (Retired) Philip Kwong, and our Banquet keynote speaker is Col Kim Campbell. Both were former cadets in the California Wing. Their bios can be found in the attached flyer and on the CAWG Cadets Instagram Page.
