It’s that time again! Mission Aircrew School (MAS), arguably the largest event in the state in terms of number of aircraft in attendance, will be held this year from 27-29 July 2018 in Bakersfield.
This event is geared toward qualifying several new Mission Pilots (MP’s) and Mission Observers (MO’s). We will be accepting applications for the pilot slots available (roughly 12) starting today. Additionally, we are looking for many, many supporting personnel for base staff, including Flight Line Marshaller’s. This is the biggest (and probably only) event where you can get your FLM/FLS ratings. There are typically 15+ CAWG aircraft at the event, dozens of vehicles and a hundred or more personnel!
MENTORS: If you are an MP-SET, please sign up as well and indicate that you would like to be a mentor.
BASE STAFF: If you are a standard OR trainee, please register for your desired position. I can use all the help I can get!
CADETS: Please register for what you would like to do. We will have numerous opportunities in the various specialties so please don’t be afraid to get your name in. This is a great event to obtain your FLM/FLS ES ratings as well as your MRO ratings if you are interested in radio communications. If you are at all interested, please register. We will do whatever we can to make sure you can attend.
